Easy Roasted Asparagus with Parmesan

Make this easy roasted asparagus healthy side dish in 20 minutes! Warm out-of-the-oven, Parmesan-coated green stalks are perfectly crisp-tender. LOVE the creamy cheese bits. Pure flavorful and delicious!
  • 500 grams asparagus
  • 2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil, to drizzle
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • Kosher salt or sea salt
  • Black pepper
  1. Preheat oven to 425F.
  2. Evenly coat asparagus with extra virgin olive oil, garlic, and a pinch of black pepper.
  3. Spread asparagus onto a single layer of baking sheet on top of a baking tray.
  4. Season with 1 ½ pinch of kosher salt and freshly grated parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes until tender or crunchy depending on your preference.
  6. Enjoy!
Cut or snap off the base of the asparagus stalks where fresh asparagus begins prior to roasting. These are the tough parts that has much less moisture.

Adjust the oven roasting time according to the thickness of the asparagus stalks and how crunchy you want them to be. Increase cooking time for more tenderness and decrease cooking time for more crunchiness.
